Aaron's engineering fee at GWRR: Free to you! I'll pay it out of the $300/day you are paying the studio. Yes, that indeed means you can record at GWRR for a flat $300/day.

News you can use:
* A "day" is usually about 10 hrs. for me.
* I reserve the right to have an assistant cover for me a few hours here and there.
* I have never been able to figure out where the line between engineering and producing is crossed, so for now, the distinction has been eliminated from my mind. I will select the mics and place them (engineering?), let you know when your guitar is out of tune (producing?), help you get good vocal takes (producing?), facilitate any weird idea you have (argle-bargle?), break up inter-squad fights (riot police?), etc. (etc?). I will not write your songs for you or help you get a record deal (hogwash?).
* Don't forget your tape costs when budgeting. You get about 32 minutes of recording time/reel at 15 ips (inches per second). I prefer Quantegy GP9. You can provide your own tape or purchase from me at $295/reel. If you really can't afford the tape, I can rent you reels for $50/reel. Rental reels will be guaranteed to be reasonably new and of good quality, with no sonic degradation compared to new reels. When your session is complete and I am assured of your satisfaction and happiness, I will erase your basic tracks from the reel and rent to the next client.
